Picked up a 1991 Nissan 240sx coupe for cheap.

Question is, it has a body kit... a mock Ferrari Testarossa kit to be exact.

I *kinda* like the look, but at the same time I hate it.

So here's my 3 options:1.) Keep it on there, and restore it back to a proper state.2.) Rip that sumb**** off and give it away/trash it3.) Take off the door pieces and make the side skirts more "flush", abandoning the Testarossa look thus creating a decent lip kit.

Oh... 1st thread ftw!Stumbled upon this site when Googling for info about timing chain rattle.

I bet that kit looked relatively clean when it was whole. If you can find another front lip id say keep it.

But i dont see that kit as is being fixable just rip it off and go OEM Clean.

P.S If you find any cheap E30s or SXs in or about Hammond be sure to give me a shout, im looking for a cheap project car to literally f*** with

P.P.S Im really curious as to what the kit looked like new.

German Auto Center on church street had a beautiful white e30 m3 for sale a few weeks ago.I can ride by there on my way home from work and see if it's still available.

I'm going to trash this kit.The more I stare at it, the stranger it looks. I will keep the rear bumper lip though, but mold it flush.I don't plan on going crazy with the car, just suspension and wheels.Plan on it being a dd / weekend autox car.

I would personally keep it, restore it, and repaint the car red with some cool wheels.

But that's just me.

Seriously though, keep it. Otherwise you'll have the exact same thing EVERYBODY else has.

I am shocked!! I cannot believe no one has seen this before. I have seen that kit at least 20 different times. I always thought it was a option the dealership had or the only option for body effects in the early 90's.

I have never seen one in good condition.I would keep it.

FYI I have only seen this on a coupe never a hatch.

Keep it.

Slam it, get some wheels that fit, and enjoy rocking a kit that no one else has.
