Should I trust an aftermarket oil pump for my KA?

Ok so long story short. My front cover is broken and I need a new one.

I've been looking and a Nissan front cover and oil pump for a S13 KA is about 300+ dollars. However there are aftermarket covers/oil pumps for around 120. Now, should I risk getting a potentially lower quality oil pump over the factory one which, basically, never fails? Has anyone used an aftermarket cover/oil pump with good long term results?

i have a aftermarket oil pump and it has over 10,000 mile on it no problems to report.
