So guys my car came with one of those chrome plated "Feddy" intake manifolds. one of my friends wants it and is willing to swap his oem manifold for it and some cash or work on his end for it. my car is a DD and i think i could use the mid range hp more than the top end. what are you guys opinions?

any idea who made it?. when i can, im planning on buying the ISIS manifold, pretty much a greddy copy too except its sold by enjuku and they have somewhat of a reputaion so im not worried about it being crap.

Just and FYI I was looking at a RB25DET Greddy and Isis manifold side by side the other day expecting the greddy to be nicer and it wasn't. the ISIS exterior casting looked better and the runner port windows were the same with the same amount of mismatch between them. So if you plan on dishing out cash maybe save up for something even better than those, but if not the ISIS should work out.

Im not sure what brand it is. It came on the motor already so i have no clue. I DD the car so most of the time im not in the top end of the powerband where the aftermarket manifold is supposed to be good for. I have read some places that the stock manifold will actually have better ET's even with a loss in the top end due to having more HP and tq in the mid range. the engine bay in the picture is mine.

I would just keep it, if it has been running fine for this long i don't think you will notice much of a gain where you are expecting with the stock unit. It's not worth the hassle IMO. Have your friend buy an ISIS for $200 or whatever dollars.

If you go back to oem manifold, you'll need a new cold pipe. Just something to take in to consideration

Yepp I'm going to get a new cold pipe either way. Idk why the prvious owner skimped on one but ohwell. The bov needs to be recitculated too, but I can't find just an air intake pipe without an expesive filter with a fitting for the bov recirculation. I don't need a new filter.
