should i trade my 240sx for this other car??

i know this is a nissan forum, but eversince i bought my car last year all i've had is bad luck, havn't had a month where the car ran straight without repair.maybe nissan is not for me, i have had vw's in the past and i've had no problems with them. here is my car a 91 240sx se (super-hicas), with 178,000 miles with these mods.*bomex front lip*17 brand new konig mp3, with tires powder coated red*red and black D.A.D seats*jvc deck with new speakers*tein springs*custom 2 1/2 exhaust*custom aluminum spoiler (not ricey big and totally custom, none other like this)many more little parts and other maintenance stuff that i have replaced over the year, like battery, alternator, starter, etc....

here is the car i am trading for-this is in a 90 integra with 117,000 original miles

Motor and Trans and Ecu: $1200-jdm b16a and b16a trans (55k miles on them)-gsr cams (50k miles on them)-skunk2 cam gears (1k miles)-usdm type r exhaust manifold-new tensioner and tensioner pulley (1k miles)-brand new map sensor-generic air intake-act stage 3 6puck clutch-jun 7lb flywheel

Turbo setup: $1500-AirResearch t3/t04b turbo w/ internal wastegate-custom manifold-vortech fmu with 12:1 disc,8:1 disc,and 6:1 disc included-synapse missing link-dsm 1st gen intercooler-dsm 1st gen blowoff valve-partial intercooler piping-oil sending line-airtrex inline fuel pump (one from drag kits)- autometer boost gauge-2.5 inch mandrel bent downpipe-misc vaccuum lines-misc fuel lines-hose clamps-bolts

Extra Parts:-Mint condition rear blue leather seats (OBO)-Mint condition rear grey and black seats (OBO)-2 gauge a pillar pod (OBO)-Autometer lunar series oil pressure gauge ($40)-front bumper support (OBO)-Wings west RS side skirts, and rear lip ($250)-Wings West big mouth front bumper with 2inch by 2 inch hole in the top ($ 150)-2 inner headlights(OBO)

what you think, do, or don't????

I say no. you might miss RWD. IMO i would sell the 240 and buy a different 240.

I would trade it if I were you.. If you dont like it you can always trade it for another 240 in the future.. I have a turbo ls/vtec EF hatch and it is really fun to drive and Way faster then my 240. Thats just IMO though.. If you do you should sell/trade me the seats and lip off your S13(he'll never know hehe).. plus I got alot of honda parts we could deal with.

i'm going to assume that most hardcore 240sx owner is going to say no, but there are those other 240 owner who has a honda, then of course they would tell you to do it. i'm against it too....... those model integra freaking ugly ....

I had a 91 DA9 Integra Hatchback LS. I had a B18C (GS-R) under the hood and I sold it for my 240SX. Depend on what you want. B16A is a very good motor. And I have Rebuild many of them. Not because they are broken but because people want a Turbo so you got to lower the Compesion. Since it is a Petty high one.

I would stay with a 240SX. I love my 240SX more then Any car I have Own.

hey zombieman these model integs are tight. they look better, cleaner and not as played out as the newer ones. plus those models kinda remind me of the s13's, you know the coupes from japan, with the front headlights....what you think..

if they you get it cause it reminds you of a 240 coupe, just sell your 240 fastback and get a coupe. b16's blow up. especially with turbo's. good thing they are cheap to replace.

id stay 240, just get a different one. here's the cars ive owned:

I'd say trade it. The B16a and the turbo in a teg would price tag for a few more grand. If you don't like it, sell it. I'm pretty sure you will find a honda owner that wants a b16/turbo. The system (b16/turbo) alone you can sell for around 4500 so what do you have to loose?

thanks for the imput and replies...i'm still in the process of thinking over this transaction... i don't think i ever felt a car handle like my 240 before..so i think i'm gonna miss that.. and that is on some tein springs and aftermarket shocks only.

thats a good point, you could probably get more for the integra, expecially if you parted it out. just dont expect to get 4500...thats not gonna happen. get some pics so we can get a better idea of what this teg actually looks like, ive seen some hack jobs that fit into your description, as well as nice cars too

then you can sell it for crazy amounts of money to those 2Fast 2Furious fanatics that want a honda so bad, and with that money from the 'teg, buy a better 240sx.
