what's wrong with the motor?

I do love those cars...but they're kinda flaky.

one swap that's been done is putting the uh..damnit...I can't remember the code..but it's the Eclipse GSX motor in them...gotta get an adapter kit though.

Blown head gaskit, but im a tech... So not that big of deal. GSX is a all wheel, if i was going to do that i might as well go gst or rb, sr or 350. I want to stick with rwd.

Even as a TSi, I think $1000 is a bit much for a car with a blown motor, unless there's been tons of other work (suspension, leather interior is pristine, etc).

you do....by adapating, I mean setting the motor up for a RWD application...ton of afermarket for that motor....and crankwalk.

hell, you could probably sway an LS in it and still have a decent weight distribution on it...I'm not sure if that motor was all aluminum or not...
