Should I shave my 3rd brake light?

i like it that a lot better. Thats how it should have came from the factory. Not even 60k miles..thats just crazy. Lucky...so lucky

i did that too, and at inspection they made me put a 3rd brake light back. so i just wired a s13 coupe one inside my hatch window. check with your states inspections.

Just because you shave your antenna doesn't mean you can't listen to radio. Keep it hooked up but leave it in your trunk/hatch and tuck it. I shaved it on my S14 and I wish I would have shaved the 3rd brake light. I figured If i decide to go wingless I could shave it on a different trunk so I could always switch it out if I needed to.

Just bought my car recently, everything but the brakelight is already shaved, i really want to do it and am gonna try to, any ideas on a how to.. ? I've been looking around, also been looking around for the round taillights like in Derricks post any help would be great, thanks =)

I just recently shaved my spoiler wiper and 3rd brake. All three of these things had rust around them so I tossed them. Who gets pulled over by a cop and the cop says 'hey sir I know you shaved your third brake light" lol.

When I got my car inspected, the guy even asked me if it had a brake light on it....I just said, "I don't think so, it came like that"
