I see you can get 18K$ out of your car, well guess how much you can buy an 08 altima coupe 3.5SE with prem packages on ebay? 20K$ (cvt though)

if you want to upgrade, now's the time to sell and get those unwanted low millage altima coupes

on craigslist i found a dealer selling a 3.5se dark slate (like my car) BUT 6 speed stick shift and with the premium package for 19k and it had 20k miles (just like me)......

best way is to go with no debt but it would also be nice to have something fun so i say go with a 3.5se altima coupe with premium package.... you'll end up probably just paying tax and closing fees. plus the insurance is probably much cheaper on an altima then a g or z (i'm not sure because my dad bought my car for me and pays my insurance but i'd think it would be cheaper)

so ive been talking to some of the dealerships around here(via email), and i can get an '09 3.5se coupe with the premium package, aluminum kickplates, and floor mats for $26,920 out the door. Theyre going to give me around $19k for my current '08 2.5 sedan, leaving ~$8k to finance. what do you guys think?

IF your gonna put your extra cash into savings, setup an ING account, 4% yield. You'll be very happy you did.

also make sure you get actual quotes from ur insurance before u make assumptions. Many people dont realize the the Infiniti G is cheaper to insure than the Nissan Z.

well after a ton of research over the weekend, ive come to the conclusion that im going to just keep my alti and get a bike to satisfy my need for speed. so if anyone has any good suggestions as to what a good starter bike is, im open to anything. i just want to keep my starter bike to under $3,000 since im sure ill drop it a few times. i plan on getting a Honda CBR600RR after a few months of riding the starter bike when im really comfortable riding.

that is the worst attitude ever. DONT DROP THE BIKE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE ON IT. i dropped my bike twice. Once when i didnt know how to take it off the center kick stand, and the wind blew it over one day. But it was all good still. i took it to the shop both times afterwards.

Get a ninja, id say get a 500. but the 250 will be in your 3000 dollar price range.

I'd sell it, and buy something "fun" for the $20 grand that you'll have in your pocket. You'll probably have to buy a coupe that is a couple years older than your boring 2.5 sedan, but I'm sure you can find one with low miles and in perfect shape, just take your time looking. So the plan basically is to trade your 2.5 sedan for coupe straight across, and to make the numbers work you sacrifice a couple years of "newness" on the new car. Maybe somebody already suggested this, I didn't read the whole thread but that is what I would do man.
