should I sell car or keep?

Well I got a phone call today from my mechanic saying that he found someone who wanted to buy my 93' 240sx hatchback SE. It was in the shop going through a new transmission. He said the guy was willing to pay $3,500 for it. It current has intake, ngk plugs and wires, enkei wheels and kuhmo ecsta supra 712 tires with lifetime warranty for any reason, rebuilt transmission, and rebuilt KA24DE with only 108,000 on the odometer. My question is that when I do sell the car if I decide to, then im going to find a 240sx kouki because parents are going to give 10k as allowance for another car to go to college or should I keep the s13 240sx and parents will only put 5k to restore the car (body), and suspension? what should i do?!?!

sell it and spend the 13.5K on a MUCH better car.

Even tho it sounds like you have a REALLY! nice 240sx.

you can go spend $10 grand on a really really nice car

Sell it, get you a S14. But think about insurance rates going up getting a newer car.

keep the car your not going to find a nicer car then what you have with 5k into body and suspension stop listening to the ricers and be s13 proud

Aslong as it's in good condition, I'd NEVER trade a nice S13 for an S14. Keep that car. and take whatever money your spoiled a** can get from your parents and make you a nice, reliable sportscar.

Keep it. 5k can go a long way on an S13. Although, if you sold it and bought another S13, for cheaper, AND got 10k from your parents for the car... you'd be set.

Its got a fresh rebuild, and good transmission. Keep the s13. I can do alot with 5 thou. Suspension, and a junk yard turb kit. Whats wrong with the body???

Wow thanks for all the input guys. So many opinions from other people and on the boards. Well the body is pretty much perfect except for like one little dent I got from some idiot at a mall hitting my car trying to reverse and leaving and having no responsibility to at least apologize. No big deal though its not that big and only about $100 to fix and have a friend of a friend that does paint and can do mine for under $200 with really good quality. This is what us NICO ppl get for getting so attached with our cars that we don't know what to do or how to part with our cars besides getting the exact same car again. Thanks for helping me out again guys and ill be reading more of the inputs and tell you guys what happens. =)
