Take that off! It's not 10 years ago. Go for a modern clean look.

These are pics of my 350Z as it currently sits with graphics kit and former sponsorship stickers.

This car used to be extensively raced as a project Z for another forum in 2004/2005.:

(But now there are different marketing people at Bridgestone who dont even know who I am and will not return emails or phonecalls for tires for racing as per original agreement)

But every sticker still represents parts that are on the car.

But the graphics kit is starting to show its age as it slowly fades and while it is a nice attraction at meets it is a little bit visually <loud> when I drive it on the street...
Sometimes i wonder if I should not at least remove all the stickers.

This would yield a cleaner look and even though my car is SC'ed it is not the 600hp rocket the graphics kit seems to suggest but more like a 400 hp car...

and I am not sure i am willing to invest the dollars into take it from 372 at the wheels as it sits now, to the 500 whp it needs in my mind to justify this look.

Can someone photoshop my car or have picture examples of a Pikes Peak White 350Z with wheels similiar to mine???

I want to explore how the car looks clean...

Also please vote in my poll

Fred...:)

So I just went to a local meet in the Z with a niconaut.

But since it was cold , we left after an hour and then viited a neareby modern "performing arts center" ;)

While we were there a waitress and 3 performers found us and gushed about the car both while we were there and as we were leaving.. :mike

Fred, the underlying paint should be fine - I'd be more concerned with the paint that WASN'T covered by vinyl, as it will have sustained more wear.

If it were my Z, I'd have the vinyl redone the same, except without any identifying markings / logos. I like the graphics on that car, always have.

I'm one of the dissenting voices. I love the layout you've got and have ZERO problem with someone rocking sponsor logos for parts that are actually on the car.

But I'm a real sucker for the clean look. :yesnod

Thanks Busy!!..

if I went all clean look I am also not sure if mine is the right color to do it..
a Black would go well with rbonze wheels, a Blue also.. a silver w/ brinze or black wheels. a white goes well with maybe black or dark bronze wheels and painting or pc'ing my BBSs would be tantamount to sacrilege :)

I like the overall graphics too, but as far as the ads on the car matching what's in the car, my feeling is it;s irrelevant. Unless you're being paid to continue to display those ads, I'd get rid of them.

It's nice to advertise (honor, show gratitude or whatever you wanna call it) for those who helped you out on the way I suppose. I only have one sponsor sticker though lol.

Oh wow! That's a lot of vinyl covered. Definitely keep them on because the paint underneath will be totally different from the exposed paint. Nice car, btw.
