Should I rebuild?

Just completed a compression test on my engine:

1: 131
2: 131
3: 140
4: 136
5: 137
6: 135

I am taking the engine out to fix a leak on the coolant in the rear, and to install a few other parts an replace the turbos. Should I get a rebuild kit to replace internals while its out?

Stock turbos, so I would probably just be looking at a full stock rebuild.

You're getting close with those numbers, and the turbos going out and coolant leak says everything could probably benefit from a refresh. New turbos and tuneup of your motor on a lagging block just seems like unhappiness to come, and sooner than later.
Seems that with your consistent compression readings that a hone and new rings/etc. might get by with new bearings/gaskets/seals, and 120K, and anything else of the dreaded "while I'm in there" that sneaks in seems like a smart plan- depending of course on your current finances!

I'm in a similar position right now. After disassembly and some measuring I'm only honing and doing rings, lapping the valves, and cleaning the heads with some porting. All my bearings, journals, pistons, cams and even most seals were all good and within spec, but it was also a "low mileage" JDM engine that I happened to really score on. Also, basically everything besides the internals are new so that helped with total costs quite a bit. Not sure if that helps but similar scenario in a way.

If it was me I would go ahead and do a light rebuild. You should go ahead and do a 120k as well. What would be your budget?

Just did the 120k 500km ago, so I would just get new belts. Should I get the full $2k rebuild kit then?

That's what I would do.
