So, I know usually if I have to ask, it's probably a no, but these are too good of a deal for me not to ask. Are the knicks in these pistons purely cosmetic or are they not safe to run?

I think they're in good shape. I just sold a set of used, forged pistons that were in similar condition. If I could have, I would have re-used mine.

From what I can see on my phone they look fine.
But I think you should consider what they cost plus what the cost of new rings will be. In the end it might not be that good deal after all.
If it's still cheap, buy them!

Good point. I don't even know how I would get new rings, but I'll check on that before I decide.

I only care about the barrels and skirts. If they are in great condition, kewl. It would take a huge gauge in the face to worry me.
