OK, as some of you know, I've been debating on trading my altima on a 240sx, and my G sedan on G coupe.

We'll, I open my email today and saw something of interest... let me know your thoughts... btw, I'm not looking for a show car... just a boosted track car... read his response below...

i'll trade for that infinite:).lol it has a ct26 turbo from a 92 supra, but its been rebuilt and upgraded,it is running 4 psi.but today i am pushing it up to 6.which it really don't need.lol.i have all the stuff except a wideband to push 15psi and tune it correctly.which once again wouldbe absolutly retarded.lol.it has an hks bov,42mm wastegate,3" downpipe to 3" exhaust which leads to a borle muffler.and that comes out as 2 2.5" pipes straight back.sounds great,it has a very large front mount intercooler, kyb agx adjustable struts all around, tein springs, inspected, good tires on it.could come with a set of 17's which look amazing on it.but ya.theres plenty more.where are you located?.maybe we can meet up today and check out the cars?

Sorry, I didn't include the first message, it would be a trade with the altima, not the G

Going to take a peek tonight, I'll get some pics if it works out.

OK... so I went and saw the 240sx last night... I can't afford a G37 right now. but I would love to own this 240sx, it's an 89, so I can legally have straight pipes.

I heard it running, it sounds so sick... It was bogging out a bit, I'm wondering if I should not bother, or if it's worth the work required. As most of you know, I bought my altima for $1400, it was so well maintained that it's crazy. I have all the records for the car since 98... I don't know if it's worth the risk. Any suggestions? It's boosted @ 6 psi, it's got a big ol front mounted intercooler, dual 3" Borla exhaust, it will need some paint, but I can't think of a better project car.

I say trade the altima for it.

Perfect project car. Sounds like it has some good upgrades. Get under the car and check out the exhaust to make sure its not rusted out.

I think you'll enjoy this car...plus the 240SX has a lot of options for upgrades...and cheap. MUCH cheaper than the G.

It also has some 17" wheels that need a good painting along with the car, the exhaust is OK, but I'd probably get something slightly more narrow in diameter anyway to keep some backpressure, it has no muffler, just pipes for now.

Parts etc are cheap as can be... it would be really cheap to get a new turbo setup, tune and WHOO HOOO

do it, youll have a lot more fun in a rwd than any fwd boosted or not. And turbo motors dont like back pressure. you should have 3" all the way out. besides altimas are family cars.

I would say sleep on it. With a car that old even with the motor swaped, it will need alot of work even in the future. I dont even want to know how much money my boyfriend and I have put into the s13. Things were constantly breaking. If you have time and money I would say go for it. I wouldnt recommend it as a daily driver though.

Goodluck let us know how it turns out

MMMMMMMM coupe. I love a coupe. But a turbo'd single cam? I bet w/ a good tune it would be a fun toy. The only thing I would be worried about is rust, esp. north of the boarder.

It looks good on the rust front, it's been stored aparently, any cars that old up here are subject to 20 years of rust are literally falling apart, I'm going to drive it tonight hopefully, I'll keep you posted on the progress.

If you have the time, space, and money for a project car i say go for it...you still ahve the G for your daily grind and that thing could be a lot of fun on the weekends

OK boys and girls... I think i will be doing this.

I was in the car on the weekend, and let me just say, that that thing is so sick. I was like OMGWTF!!!

It was so fast, he drifted around the second corner in his neighbourhood. It's loud as a V8 at the track. it's got mad balls. I think he peeled rubber right into 3rd... and that's only at 4psi.

So he wants to trade for the altima, and I will have to pay out $600 if I want the 17" wheels to go with it. I don't know if I'm getting a good deal, but it's definately a sick ride... I want it so bad. It will probably spank my G for sure, it's that crazy. total rat rod..
