Not trying to get flames just asking honest opinion. I have a 91 240 with hicasthat has a smoking motor, messed up hatch rust in usual spot several dings and could use paint. I have a guy in town that has approached me about aneve swap for a 91 integra with wheels, almost new tires, better paint and body, adjustable coils, light weight flywheel etc what do y'all think. Motor does not smoke trans shift great 5 spd. Not asking to be flamed cause I know if I do this I more than likely will end up looking for another 240

I think your gonna regret selling ur hatch. So if i was you i would just fix the paint, and beggin the restoration. Ur gonna get bored of an integraa. their front wheel drive POS's. So my advice, stick to ur s13, i know i would.

if you don't have capital as of right now, to build this car...

sell it, 240's are great but decent and drivable cars are better then rusted ones.

you can always buy an sc300 or a g35 when you have more money... 240's wont be as appealing in the years to come.

Well being as I don't havecto drive the car really has me wondering I love the hicas part also. Biggest thing wrong with the 240 is bad engine still runs and drives not afraid to drive to mobile rust on hatch is only rust I know of where the hatch spoiler was. The teggy is gold for guy from mobile that was asking. As for money to build it don't have it now, but do not have to have vehicle to drive being as I have 2 others an 01 Malibu and a big block chevy equipped 84 truck that is streetable

It is a gold colored teggy lowered I also know s13beast from the mobile imports forum you wouldn't have a good motor would you. My 240 was originally abs equipped has hicus and is se has factory vlsd also. The gold teggy is lowered with aforementioned goodies sorry I don't have pic but color should ring bell he has had it at brunos before

Yeah thats josh's teg. That car isnt to bad. But if the s13 isnt your daily I wouldnt trade cause he runs the s*** out that car. But s13beast's vert is my old car. Im selling his old hatch cause I'm building a vip I30.

That is a beautiful 240 kalypso. If I was to build mine the way I have thought about I would have to eliminate the hicus so even if I did get rid of it if I found another hatch may be worth it in long run. I have thought about building a v8 240 lol. Also Josh got rid of to someone I know his name is Andrew he has the teggy now. What ya trying to get for the hatch that s13 beast had and is there a way to contact you to see it

What do you mean by high concetration of bad cars in this area mine motor is smoking is biggest prob and can't find 1 around also don't have crazy amounts of time and money to do rebuild and at cost to rebuild ka I might as well old school v8 it if I keep it and blow the power output of the ka away with ease even most of the sr swapped 1's lol

Yes the camaro came with v8, also weighs about 800-1000 lbs more than even my 240 since it is se only the verts are heavier. Also the camaro that i like are 81 and back body not a big fan of the 82 and newer 1's except for very few. I have had about 3 over the years and I also think I would like a v8 240 if I ever build 1 not sure if I wanna mess up the balance though

Well to update this thread. I got rid of my 240 only to end up getting it back a few days later guess it is meant to be I keep it lol. Done found me another motor for it and not to start a small build to begin with before doing other things to it. And to be honest glad it is back
