should i or not?

I have a set of pacesetter headers that i am gonna put on. but i have a problem. my egr and aiv lines that are hooked into the original exhaust manifold are rusted in there real tight. guy at shop could break loose. he said best bet would be to buy new lines and just cut the old ones and drop the headers in with the new lines. should i just plug the aiv sensor thing since it does nothing? or would it make a difference. oh and if anyone has the EGR and AIV hoses lying around from a swap i would like i will buy. dealer to exspensive. thanks for help.
