Should I make my car a track car, or make it half track/daily?

This has been bugging me for a while now...Should I officially make my car track and get the SR swap that ive been too scared to get since I live in Cali and cops are a constant worry. Or should I make my car half track/ half daily. In this I mean continue with the fact that im putting in a 2-way LSD soon and hopefully some other goodies coming up. Now if I make this a track car ill probably have to buy a beater soon, but not too soon since I dont drive to too many places that often. So should I cough up the cash and make my car a kickass track car, or should I settle for half way.So, track or keep it legal?

Go with the KAT and then it will be legal to drive. Dunno about emissions though since I live on the other side of the states. SC. Im making mine a track/daily driver.

KAT isnt legal in Cali. Only thing thats close is Greddy, but no word on when and even if that will ever happen.

They werent CARB certified one month ago when I called them. ANd they told me it would take 6 months before they could CARB legal it. Mind you this is Cali, so you may not have to worry about the same thing I do.

I voted for "keep it legal" only because there should be more 240's on the road. . . :ylsuper

Make it dual purpose. Always good to have a comfortable spare in case something happens to your other car.Pure track car probably means R compound tires, that means trailer plus tow vehicle.
