Well any drifting or harddriving is going to put stress on em. Let them buy them if they need em.

yeah, make them buy them if they want to use them, or let them borrow them if they will hook you up with stuff

And whatever you decide on, whatever deal you work with them, get it in writing!

A Sponsored team wants to "borrow" coils fro you???

something doesn't sound right....

hmmm... I would ask them to cut you a check for the amount of the coils...

so you can hold it incase they break it or something...

but in other case, what would YOU get out of this whole deal?

If you let them borrower your coilovers, expect not to get them back. That was always a rule of my parents. Don't lend out anything that you cant live with out it coming back.

my honest oppenion... as if it really matters say no. no one gets hurt that way and you dont chance loosing a fairly important part or a friend. let em get pissed if they want to. it may seem mean but when it comes to stuff like that there is no way in hell id let someone barrow my coilovers (if i had any) and i dont even think i would have enough nerve to ask someone to barrow their coilovers... anything can happen when letting peole barrow stuff and when you do you should always assume the worse.

HAHA actually this reminds me of a situation a friend was in before... fairly amusing to say the least, some people have no respect and think that just b/c they know you they have rights to your parts, lol

Yeah this seems like a shady venture. But I wouldn't let them borrow the coilovers, make them buy them at the same price you paid for them. If they really need them they will pay you retail price for them.

Ha! "Sponsored" that's rich--i'm sure they are. Are the coilovers you posess on your car already? If not, tell them they can buy them. Other than that---NO.

Regardless, if he's sponsored he can get his own. You borrow TOOLS not suspension parts: the end.

for some reason, none of the pictures stay cached for me, so to avoid ridiculously long load times, i'm blocking all animated gif sigs for the time being. i did, however make sure i saved sky's sig. it's funny

On a related note, Rusty Wallace asked if he could borrow my spare tire. I politely, but firmly told him "no".

To stay somewhat "on topic", don't let someone you don't really know borrow a rather expensive bit of beautiful automotive hardware. That would be foolish unless you have money to spare to buy new coilovers.

you should have told him you'd let him borrow it only if he ran it during the next race

He sold his S14 so the coilovers arent doing anything, and if I amnot mistaken Jay wants an S13. I would simply sell them to them at a fair price. They are used arent they Jay?
