I recently got a z32 mafs off my friends parted out twin turbo. Now im planning on just staying with the t25 and stock intercooler once I get my sr20. Now should I keep this even though I know I wont push no more than 10 psi? Is it helpful even though I wont upgrade injectors or turbo down the road. If I wont need it I know some out there would take it for a hundred bucks!

Well for one thing you can max out your set up a little safer. You can push it real close to 270hp. But you will need a couple of more things to do it safe. FPR, fuel pump, and tune the afc. What ecu are you useing? The turbo wont last long at that level though.

while keeping the 300z MAF may not give you bragging rights on paper, you will notice a increase in response. The stock one is way too restricting. Since they were from different engines (different ecu), you'll need to calibrate the ecu. If you don't want to go through the trouble, and aren't interested in a minor performance gain for the additional work, I'd say sell it.

I think the effects of a 300ZX MAFS on your car may actually hurt the current performance. The SR MAFS has a more accurate range of voltage for the lower (close to stock) numbers. The 300ZX could cause some minor idle woes, and since it can read up to 500+HP, it will only be reading at the bottom of its voltage range, which it can do, but not as accurately to a smaller MAFS.

Sell it, or keep it and don't install it.

Could my safc II still be effective at all on stock sr20 mafs.

True, in-town driving and idling will likely suffer (a little) from this, but I'm not talking about performance at 2000rpm. When on boost, and IF the ecu is recalibrated, there will be an increase. Not in absolute horsepower figures, since your preset boost will determine that, but an increase in higher rpm torque. If you halfa$$ it you'll be wasting your time. The increase will only net you probably as much as a cat-back will on a stock KA. . . noticable, but not astronomical. . . I have no doubt, though, that there will be many people on this forum that will gladly take it off your hands.
