Should I just paint them?

Okay so this week the mod bug has hit real hard and i was thinking about getting new rims, but than a friend convinced me that if i painted the stock rims it would look much better

i have the 05 coupe with the 19" 5 double spokeive searched for about an hour and can not find pics of those painted black and am way too tired to PS them.

So if anyone already has some pics or knows a link. shoot em my way id love to see how they look before i do it.

Thanks

These are the Sedan 18's, but they're close enough. Yes, mine are rattle canned and you can't tell. Everyone thinks they're powder coated.

Paint them like the Time attacks (black with red lip) I've seen pics of people with that on another forum and i think it looks cool.

I was playing around in PS today with a picture of my car and might also be thinking about painting my wheels, but I'm not completely sure yet. Anyway, here's a crappy 10 minute PS with a painted black grill and tinted headlights as well. And although there are already a lot of good example pictures up, I'll just throw mine up here for kicks.

At the dyno day, there was a black on black coupe (like mine) with powder coated 19s in black. It looked VERY sexy.

Whatever you do, don't paint the outer rim black and leave the inside silver. It makes it looke like you have 17s.

no matter what i own i paint the wheels on it. if they are OE or not most of the time silver wheels are easier to find and i just make them black :D

make sure you scuff em up really well and you won't have a problem i just painted my OE wheels recently and they came out really well a member of this forum can vouch for that. took about a day to do it all, scuff, prime, paint, cure. nothing wrong with painting wheels i like it
