Hi Guys,

I recently traded in our 2008 Rogue SL for a 2011 Rogue SV AWD with the Premium Package. When we got the vehicle home, I noticed that there are two things missing relative to our old SL, and I'm wondering if these are simply not offered any more, or if the dealer took them out.

Specifically, the removable tray that goes into the armrest cubbie that splits it into two, and the cargo organizer in the back, that goes over the spare.

Eric_c,

Nissan eliminated some of the options on the 2011 models to make way for other features. This included the dual level tray in the center console, the divider in the glove box, the foldable rear cargo organizer, and cargo cover. They are now optional accessories that must be purchased separately from the dealer.

I have a 2011 SV premium package as well. It didn't come with Center Console Box, Glove Box Divider either. I don't think Glove Box Divider is necessary, however I already bought a Center Console Tray from Kijiji (a local ebay equivalent web site). You should keep the center console tray when you were trading your 2008 :).

You don't have the Cargo Organizer over the spare because you have a Full Spare tire, meaning a regular tire with a 18 inch original rim. Because it uses all the spare tire area, you don't have any space left to have an organizer. Actually, I wish I have a compact spare tire (rather than a full-18inch rimmed tire) with a beautiful hidden organizer. Probably I will use the spare tire once in every two years and I don't care if it is a full size tire or not. But I used that organizer nearly every week.

As Philip said, Nissan (like other companies) saves money by removing some "optional" features. Personally, after paying $37K to a car, I am expecting to have a $40 Center Console Tray, rather than digging web sites.

However, I recently found one feature that came as a bonus:

Normally (according to the sales brochure, web sites etc.) the 2011 AWD SV Rogues - even with Platinum- didn't have automatic up and down function for the drivers window. However, mine has!

Too bad you don't live south of the border because you would be paying $10,000 cheaper. Down here in the states we can buy a Murano with that price.

For Canada:

From '08-10, you got a full size spare tire and only if the cargo organizer was not added as part of the Premium Package. I have to verify the spec's, but it appears the cargo organizer was deleted for 2011 and the full size spare is only available on SL or SV with Premium Pack. The rest just get a temporary spare.

For the USA:

All US model Rogues got a temporary spare tire and underfloor storage tray. On the '08-10 models, there was an optional flip-up cargo organizer that replaces the tray. For 2011, the organizer was deleted... you just get the storage tray now.

I haven't added the 2011 model yet, but the '08-10 difference are in the following thread:
