Should I go aftermarket turbo manifold or upgrade internal for stock turbO? HELP

I was thinking about swapping my stock sr20det turbo manifold into an after market manifold and is it worth the cost or should i just upgrade my internal of my stock turbo? Please help if anyone has experience this, i need help. I want it done the right way!

i would upgrade the manifold....i would go with the manifold SSautochrome makesone ebay which goes for around 220-250. they come with a warranty so if they crack just ship it in for a new one...its just not worth upgrading the internals of the stock turbo

Many people have had very bad luck with SSA. Is the downtime really worth the cost savings? I don't know about you guys but I enjoy driving, not waiting on parts that YOU KNOW they will ship on the slow truck

imo the stock unit is pretty darn good. what you get from a $1000 manifold you could also get from lie 2psi more boost or cams.

I'm staying with the stock manifold. It just does not seem worth the hassle to me, with all the cracking and what not. I'd rather just stay with the stock and use the money for other stuff.

yeah, im not saying dont spend the money. im saying address the shortcomings first.
