i'm thinking of geting these wheels. i know that it is 5 lug in the pic but they should have it for the 240my 240 is black and i want black wheels, but i don't think that looks good together. it makes the car look like some darth vader mobile. hehe. so these will be a good comprimise. is it hot or not?

btw: anobody order fron these people before and and are they cool?

lol, not so good for me anyway... Those wheels came with the car, but they look decent, even with the high offset. Anyway, I was driving on a backroad, one of those ones that don't have any lines and are barely wide enough for a single car. I was behind one of my friends and we were taking a pretty long and sharp right curve, all of a sudden this idiot in a ford Expedition came flying around the corner. What really took the cake was that he was towing a HUGE trailer with lawn equipment on it. At this point, I was like, "Well, ****, I had a good.... wait, my life sucked," but I cut really sharp into the turn and was really riding the edge of the road, my right tires were probably half on half off the road. Then, apparently I missed the announcment where a meteor struck the road cause there was a huge @$$ chunk just missing from the side. Nothing I could do at that point, I hit it full on. Probably a 10" drop off the road, and then a 10" vertical rise back on. The worst thing I have ever felt in a car by far. I was immediatly very pissed, but when the tire made an exploding sound and started flapping I was extremely mad. I pulled in my friend's thinking I had a flat tire, took the tire off and saw that. "HOLY ****." It is complete fracture around the circumfrance of the metal. When I take the tire off, it is gonna completely fall into 2 pieces. Guys at the shop couldn't believe it. I might have some damage to the control arms and stuff too. I'm still waiting for my new wheel to get in, it was nearly impossible to find a replacement, took me like 2 months. My mini also went flat after like 10 minutes, and I had to throw an old steely on from another car. Things are not going very well for my car right now.

Holy crap dude....that's nuts. No kidding that wasn't so good for you. Hope that never happens to anyone again. Good luck fixing it all...

Hey, when I bought my wheels (Enkei RSF2 btw) I was offered the chance to get road hazard insurance...wonder if it would have covered that....

I am not sure if it would have been covered, but it would have been interesting to see. I sent an email to ADR and they didn't seem to care at all that their wheel failed catestrophically. I am trying to file a claim with the city who "maintains" the road, because this thing is a death trap, had I not been able to keep the car staight I could have flipped off into a ditch. In a funny note, I was browsing through an online satellite image database and found this, you can actually see the hole from space, lol.

93Sleeper, what size RSF2's did you get? I'm looking at getting a set from WheelsNext maybe.

Got the 17" RSF2's with Hankook K106 P215/45 tires. I like 'em. The silver paint on the wheels is a lot brighter than it looks in the pictures though; I was looking for a charcoal-ish color but they've grown on me.
