auto on headlights=useful
steering wheel controls= VERY useful
leather wrapped steering wheel= comfy
auto up/down driver/passenger windows= useful (and no, the windows will be electric still, but youll have to hold the button to get ti to roll up/down vs pulling/pushing the button once and it will roll all the way up/down in one go)
roll down windows with key fob=not super useful

and thats all i can remember as far as stuff i use
id say its worth it, not a necessity, but extremely convenient:P

also comes with auto 8 way adjustable driver seat as well.
you can go on nissanusa.com and build your coupe there so you can see what the convenience package includes.
the roll down windows with key fog will be useful in the summer time when its hot as hell to air out the car before you get in. i live in arizona btw thats why it would be useful here.

as chinaman said above those r all pretty useful

I have the convenience package and that is just what it is. Very useful plus my car came with several options, one was the moonroof. I asked my dealer if he could find me my color with the convenience package. He found me two in a neighboring state(125 miles away). I took the one with the moonroof and in 2 weeks I was driving it home.

The price difference is insignificant for the functionality it adds

so if you got the moon roof, that means you paid for the premium package also? or did you buy used

No premium package, and I bought it new. My moonroof was just added on at the factory because I believe it was a new model. It also came with several other options but I did not get the premium, nor pay for the premium package.

You just need the right dealer to find you one. I traded in my 04 Maxima at the time and have been a loyal Datsun/Nissan owner for years. My Maxima had the premium package, almost fully loaded without the tech package.

So I contacted two dealers about finding an altima coupe with the premium package features though without paying for the package, and they both said no, that I could have a moon roof installed after purchasing, so I guess the dealer would do that, but thats not the same as premium package features.... idk, i guess you bought yours right before the next years model so it was leftover stock.

I have to say, the windows rolling down from the keyfob is definitely useful. That's one of my favorite features of the convenience package. My car sits in a wide open parking lot all day. In the summer, I can open the windows from quite a ways away, which gives the car plenty of time to air out before I have to get inside. Still hot in there, but not unbearable.

Okay thanks, i will have to get it then. Question though, what is keyfob? Just remote window rolling?

Thanks

I am beginning to think that Pcrcool is Nala's distant cousin...

A key fob is a black oval piece of plastic with some buttons on it, it is what encases the physical key and is the digital component of what makes your know you are in it allowing the engine to start.

Id show you mine, but thats private!
