Hi, I've got my good ol 01 Anniversary Edition with 242000 kilometres. She has been a great car. Recently I've had to change the MAF, a wheel bearing, 2 o2 sensors, abs sensor, and given her all new spark plugs. She should be ready to keep going.I've recently come across an 04 SE with 60000 kilometres at a good price. Checking some other sites, I see that the first year for the 6th generation hasn't been a banner one.....or is it typical usual stuff?Should I part with my 01 for this 04?ThanksWalter

No way. Just my opinion. That 01 AE is a way better option.

I like the '04 a lot better than the '01. However, some of the '04s did have issues being the first year model. My dad's got an '04 that hasn't had any problems, though, for what it's worth.

Guess it's all down to the individual car and your preference. If you find an '04, test drive it, check out it's maintenance history, and if it looks good and you like it, it can be just as reliable as an '01.
