should i get coilovers or lowering springs fo my 95 240sx. I wanted the option to lower my car to different heights to see which I liked best, only possible with coilovers. But i have heard from few others that either te ride is too bouncy, or when i hit a bump my *** is going to hurt. But i dont want to take the chance of getting stuck at one height that the lowering springs would give me. Are the coilovers going to be that bad of a choice. Any advice is greatly appreciated...

no. go with coilovers. when searching for coils, just get something with a low spring rate if your concerned about ride comfortability.

well it all depends on how much you want to spend, because of course, if you're gonna go the coilover route, generally speaking, your gonna be spending more than a spring/ strut combo. for the best bang per buck, a lot of people have been going for the megan streets, which have a spring rate of 8/6 f/r respectivly.

take a look at the following threads for more infohttp://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=228659http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=227798

personally, i dont have the megan streets, but my spring rates on my coils are 9/7, and honestly, they arent that bad, and yes, its on my daily driver. so i can imagine that 8/6 would be a bit more comfortable for a daily driver.

but also research on KTS and Stance coilovers, ive heard decent reviews on them too.

Springs for sure with street use only...Most Coilovers are stiff as hell,And suck to drive on everyday.

You probably won't like the ride height with lowering springs. I say go for a set of coilovers like KSport or Megans. It looks cool driving and bouncing around hahaha jk. I have 8/6 spring rates and I drive my car everyday. I drive with my 5 and 3 year old boys and they never complain about it being too stiff.
