if youre staying N/A and youre gonna build it, then yeah, youre gonna need a header before you get into the other stuff (cams, etc...) but if youre going turbo, dont waste your money.

I agree cause if you get a turbo than your gonna have to switch it anyway. But if not it helps those other mods he mentioned alot.

you won't necessarily be satisfied with that either, unless you're just looking for like 8-10 extra HP. if you really want power, look for some nitrous on ebay for cheap.

96 S14...The hotshot header I was using on my car along with a CAI/nice exhaust and no cat made a noticeable difference in upper end power...I think it's worth it, especially if you're not turboing, or not planning to for a while...You'll be satisfied with the I/H/E for a while I think, at least I know I was...

Edit: Mine is for sale, $230 shipped, used only 4k miles, very good condition... (for an s14 too), email [email protected] for pics

A header is not going to make much difference. Why don't you just invest in a good set of cams. Nick

574-240sx...How would you know if it would make a difference or not? According to your profile you're completely stock. Therefore, you're disseminating opinions based on no prior, first-hand experience. I've done both the header AND the cams....And I can honestly say that I felt more of an immediate difference in the header than I did with the cams....The header is well worth it if you're staying NA or if you're not planning on going turbo in the near future.

I have tunned may hondas and its not worth it. I have a hotshot header sitting in my room with Apex'i exhaust. I don't think I'm going to put it on (the header) because its not going to be worth it. I'm going turbo in a few months and picking up my second 240. I'm going to be nice, unlike you getting ****ty. Also I was just offering advice. You don't have to take advice. Nick

Unfortunately, this isn't a honda forum. Therefore, your honda-tuning prowess means nothing when talking about a 240sx and a header. True, it's "advice," but advice without sound evidence. As someone who's done BOTH, I say go for it! Sorry for acting like a ****, I just don't like when people say "no" or "yes" when they haven't actually done something.Marc

I have friends that have 240 and greddy and hotshot header and they aren't inpressed. I say go for whatever you want. It was just my opinion. Nick
