I dont know all to much about the good and the bad on 95 240's but found one that i am about to buy. I was just wondering what i should know about this car that would possibly cause problems in the future. Were there any recalls on that year or what usually goes wrong with anything? Please any comments would be greatly appreciated

they all have there wear and tear...it is a 13yr old car. It would mainly depend on how the previous owner took care of the car.

Make sure you check for rust...240's are known to have that lol.

Basically, just check the underside of it...such as the frame, rocker panels, area around the sunroof if there is one, where the door hinges would be at...just to name a few.

Once you get it (if you do), just do regular maintenance stuff such as replacing the spark plugs and wires, etc.

buy it, i have a 95 myself and the only year s14 i wanted (inspection reasons...no emission tests=any motor i want). they are die hard reliable and require little maint, just check for rust underneath and listen to the engine for noises.

btw, i love that color on your hatch s13_love, its f***ing beautiful.

true that. all 240's have their problems, they are getting old. and most of them were beat on..just try to find one with a straight chassis and make sure you have extra money in case something needs to be replaced etc.. but these cars are awesome. i dont think youll be dissapointed!

All 240s are good, there just old cars and with old cars comes problems. Go through the basics just like sebazztard said look for rust especially under the frame and on your strut mounts. You dont wanna end up buying a car that looks really good on the outside with HORRIBLE rust underneath

I say do it.get a nice sexy 1995, clean it up, and let's get another great s14 on here.I loves my 95, so much that I was originally selling her, fixed two minor issues and fell back in love with it.

you have to think of a 240sx as a good girlfriend, when you first get together youll be all about it 100%, then she'll argue with you, and complain and stop working and be a royal pain in the @$$, but after some cosmetic surgery and a new turbo personality shes freakin HOT!
