I'm undecided if I should attempt to receive warranty work from the dealer in regards to seat noise.
The noise seems to come from the (drivers seat) left-side bolster whenever I make any movements, or accelerate. I would describe the noise as a (pretty loud) creak, and a physical movement can be felt (from the internal frame). My concern is, it does not occur with my wife in the seat. It only seems to happen to my... ahem... "big-boned" 6' 8" frame.
I sat in other M35s of the same year, and it did not happen to me in any of the others (both low and high mileages). I've tried adjusting the seat out of the maximum settings I use to eliminate potential rubbing, no luck though. I'm convinced it's an issue with the internal frame of either the lowest portion of the seat-back, or the left-side-bolster.
So would this be considered a "normal-wear" issue, or can I attempt to get it fixed under warranty? If there's any possibility I can get it repaired under warranty, I would love to know.
