I haven't been on the radio in nearly a decade. Seems like it might be fun to get back into it, maybe to talk about the auto industry, travel, and economics. With all the electronic stimulus and Youtubes out there, do people even listen to podcasts anymore?
And, what are some good podcasts I should try? I'm downloading Autoline at the moment.

I think you answered your own question in the first post:
Do a video podcast on youtube. You don't have to show yourself the whole time, but it's a great opportunity to include illustrations and video of cars, trends, places, etc. as you talk about them. MS and Logitech both make inexpensive HD webcams these days, so you could easily keep the quality looking nice.

I'm a white guy in CA and I don't even listen to podcasts, even though I'm friends with the most downloaded podcaster ever (Carolla), I've never even listened to one lol.

I used to listen to Ricky Gervais's podcasts.
Now I usually check Radiolab to see if they have any new episodes, they have really well done podcasts on interesting subjects.
I suggest you start from page 37 and give them all a listen!
