Ok Im making my order for the c-mod grill and I love the way sickkwidit black a/c looks with the grill and tryna go for the same look. I def don't want to see the support bar but if I cut it, what will really happen?? Or can I paint it or something???

if the bumper doesn't sag when you cut the support bar... then what the heck is it supporting? i think it might sag over time if it's cut. personally, i want the cmod and not have the support bar visible, but i wouldn't cut off anything with the word "support" as part of the name. I'd either replace it, or find a better way to hide it like paint it matte black

do what ESP did, paint the c mod grill white.... looks good and makes it really hard to see the support bar.

if you paint the support bar a mate black and the mesh a mate black and the radiator a mate black, you wont even be able to see it....

Chop the support bar off. It is horrible. I have the t-rex grill and I replaced the support bar with a smaller aluminum bar. Very easy to do, and u can barley see it, and no sag. Had it for over a year now and there is no sag. Hear is the write up I did on in. It's in the table of contents. http://www.nicoclub.com/articles.php?id=368327

But if you don't replace the support bar will something bad happen over time?

I couldn't tell you for sure. I wasn't willing to risk it, so I replaced it. When I took it off, it didn't really seem to do much. But better safe than sorry. Especially since the T-rex grill is alot heavier than the stock grill
