It's a white Turbo II RX7 in good condition for 2500 bucks. Whats your idea on weither or not I should buy it? I'm kinda stuck as to what I want to do. I'll be keeping the S14 as well.Should I buy the FC3S?

As long as you keep the S14, and as long as you have time and money to put into it, pick it up.

Its a real hard car to find up by me, so snag it while you can.

It's a pretty rare car really... the same with 5-speed S14s.

I've heard all kinda stuff about rotory motors.. I think that most people are just afraid of them.. You being the mechanical type can probably do your own work, and i'm sure it'll be a learning experience.

My father has worked with rotaries for years so anything I can't figure out, he can.

Great sports car, but a much more expensive to repair than your S14. $2500 is just the beginning. But if you have the money to keep it up, it can be a very fun & rewarding car. If $ is an issue, I'd pass on it.

Why not put that money into your 240?

A NICO mod should stay with the home team!

2500 into the S14 will get me no where on the swap, the suspension is perfectly setup and any 2500 investment into the S14 will net very minimal back when I sell the car.

RX7 maintainance is no more expensive than the S14 ... believe me.

Do it then, I'd say put the money into the S14, but the RX7 is also a fun car. I loved mine, but like my S13 better. But again the RX wasn't turbo. I've heard they do have a tendency to be more troublesome as far as the engine goes, and I'm not possitive on the amount of aftermarket support. Your call, sounds good though.

the turbo Rex have more trouble than the N/A ones, too much going in too fast and it gets too hot. then again, i've heard that the guys who babyed their 3rd gens had more trouble than the guys who ragged on them.

RX7s overheat like mad, but as long as you don't drive it hard... okay, that's asking too much... as long as you don't drive it hard often*, then you should be okay.

Alan, is it an S4 or S5 TII? The S4's have problems and are down a bit on power and the S5's usually go for much more unless they are crap...

I say grab the Turbo II if it is in good shape. That is a good price for one. I came close to getting a 91 for like 3500. I kicked myself for not doing it.

Buy it, and then get the Mazda Trix race exhaust and a front mount intercooler. If the motor goes, I know a guy that does a refurbish for like 1200. Mild port jobs for like a hundred more. Not to mention, I have a spare set of tail lights and passenger door if you ever need them. :D
