its a no name exhaust it seems on ebay....seems nice but its very cheap...why would it be so cheap....should i purchase it instead of paying 450 or so for the N1 catback for example? thanks

its a ss autochrome exhaust, they had a bad name back then but their new parts are great, my buddy has the same exhaust and it sounds sweet

Its an SSautochrome exhaust, there have been some people that have had nothing but good luck with them, but I'll let them chime in and post their own opinions. Another exhaust that is also pretty cheap is the Megan RAcing exhaust I beleive its also on ebay too.One more thing, you do know that this exhaust is 3in. piping? would probally sound like complete a$$ if your still NA

I wouldn't trust that for anything. The packing will be cheap and will degrade quickly. I bet the welds will rust after a year or two. You get what you pay for.

i have bought several items from SS Autochrome. i have been pleased. there welds are good and i have not had any problems out of their products. however, i got 3" stainless OBX turboback exhaust off of ebay for the same price.

very true.. it's loud, but sounds awesome, and i'm still n/a. .. probably sounds even better on turbo... people are just so set on "I HAVE TO BUY NAME BRAND, OR IT'S CRAP".. and it's retarded.. only listen to people that acually have it. and i'm one, i've had it on my car for a good 10 months, still nice and shiny, everything looks good, and the welds are outstanding... yes, you get what you pay for, and I don't understand why people buy $500 exhausts, that aren't worth anything close to that.. you can go to shop and get 3" piping + muffler, for like $200 if you feel like it.... you're only paying for the name, especially with exhaust... any 3" mandrel bent exhaust is going to perform the same as the next.
