Should I buy this car?

Hey everyone, i am thinking about buying this 240, and I wanted to get your opinions on whether or not it is a good deal. The link is :

I plan to put about a total of 8 - 10k into it. He is selling for 4k. I thought it was a reasonable price for having a newer dohc ka24de 80k mi engine in it among other mods, it does have a small dent in the drivers side door that was pushed out, other than that i'd paint it put a kit on it and probably do a sr20 swap.

what do you guys think about the car and the price? Any help would be greatly appreciated

It looks okay, too expensive though. I wouldn't pay more than $3K for that car. He's selling it so high because he wants a 4x4 truck, and 4x4 trucks are usually worth around $4K. Sadly, that S14 isn't.

Keep searching bro, just be patient. It took me four months to find my S13, good luck.

thanks for the input guys, its so hard to wait because hawaii has a really small selection of 240's and shipping from the west coast without seeing the car is expensive and risky, I hope something good shows up here soon..

TOO EXPENSIVE, i would go for 3200 at MAX but not really, offer him 3k if he doesnt accept then just find another

auto... and it sounds like it's been hella dogged. I would rather have the first. It at least is 5 speed. I would pay more for that any day. And a little body work, paint, and wheels and you will have a nice ride.
