I just got an email from a guy with a 1982 Datsun 720 he told me he'd let it go for $400 (needs a clutch) but im not sure if I should purchase it. Here are some pics of the 720. It's lifted 5" and has offroad tires on it (31x10.50). Then engine only has 165K on it, with a recently replaced carb. It's a 4 speed manual 4x4.

well it doesn't look to be in too bad of condition... i'd say if you know how to do the clutch then do it... $400 is a good price

Yeah i can replace the clutch no problem. I forget to mention that the bed has a huge crack in it. The bed is almost split apart. I'd have to get that welded.

If it were me, I'd rather spend a little more more and get something cleaner.

At 400, maybe best to stay away unless you're looking for a project. Projects take time and money. If you got both go for it.
