ok, ive been desperately looking for a kouki 240sx, well i found one, hes asking 4500$ with 145k on it, so today went by his house just to glance at it. The rear tires are BALD some parts showing metal. overall car looks goodaftermarket exhaust5spinterior is taken a part someno cd playerno shift boot or knobclear coat is peeling in some spotsstockstruts on lowering springs

ka24de (says it runs perfect, but im test driving it tomorrow)seats look gooda dent in the driver side rear 1/4 panel (doesnt look too bad)driver side windshield mold is coming off at the bottompassenger side skirt clips seem to be broken or no hooked up a couple small dings/scracthes(nothing abnormal)and a nice ding on the A Pillar (this is probably the worst part of the car.(anyone know how to repair this?)

and the rest of the pics i took

also it has a clean Georgia title. i am probably going to try and talk him down some, but let me know what you think. hopefully this will be my first 240 update!well i test drove it, drives like expected, normal for that year mileage, transmission mounts feel old, and may need alignment, check under the car and all is straight, ac only works on the 4 setting, the tails have been downgraded to zenki's,. so i think im going to offer him 3k and go from there, i dont think im going over 4k for sure though., checked vin and all is clean, one reported repair from an accident "10/17/2007 Automotive Parts SupplierColumbus, GA Parts requested to repair damage afteran accident or other incidentLeft side quarter panel assemblyRight side rocker panel."

Your first huge mistake of car buying is looking at a car in the rain. Also, what you need to do, is decide this competely on your own. Our feedback shouldnt mean anything. YOU have to decide for yourself. YOU have decide if you like the car and the price and then whether or not YOU want the car...

Decent deal if it runs ok. Hard to find clean Koukis these days. Most of thm are overpriced.

looks decent. clean koukis go for about 6k usually so thats not too bad.your not too far away from me. towards troy theres a black 95 or 96 with some kind of wheels and coils with 118k miles. I think he wants 5500 for it but Im sure you could get him down.i know it isn't a kouki but I just figured it might help

edit: I can't tell but it looks like it has zenki tails? are you positive its a kouki or is it a kouki conversion? make sure you check

It sounds a bit fishy even for $4500, I was once in your position too; i was eager but just remember to check everything and drive it through all the gears, check the vin on the car etc. If i was you i would make a list on paper or mentally in my head of what to look for and inspect them, other than that I would try to lower him to like 4k or so to save me 5 bills for the car if anything goes wrong. Good luck with kouki

Show him 3500 for starters. I'd pick it up for $4k. A little work and your going to have one hell of a car.
