Should I buy this 1976 280Z?

I don't know too much about 280z's. But I do love them and I'm debating whether or not I should pick this up since it looks great. That being said, what are some common problems that 280z's experience?

major problems with z cars is rustur gonna hear alot about itits looks to be in good conditionanother problem is suspensionif its the orginal is most likely sucksim saving right now to get that all fixed in my car

thanks. are there any specific areas that are commonly rusted? ie. frames, strut mounts, trunk, or stuff like that?

looks liek a pretty good chassis and thats the most important part, look everyhere for rust, if it's metal it's a potential rst spot

alright, i dont have too much cash and i dont know anything about body/rust repair. i do have engine mechanical/car mechanical background and im very comfortable with that. considering that, would this one (below) be acceptable to buy or am i getting in over my head? by that i mean, would this be a huge project...prone to failures and problems? i dont want to make the mistake of buying a rust bucket and getting stuck with it. i plan on seeing the car this weekend and id just like to know what are the right questions to ask the owner.

-sidebar: there is a bit of what looks to be surface rust on the right front fender, however there would be a new fender included...should this be of concern?

also looks decent, just be sure to check for rust, look itn eh frame rails near the sway bar mounts, above and to the outside fo the tc rod mounts, lower strut towers, rocker panels especially behind the fornt fenders, and where they meat the rear doglegs, check the spare tire well, as well as the hatch lip, check the floor pans, fomr the top and bottom, in front and rear fo the seatssometimes you can only find the rust fomr the underside, check where the toeboards meets the firewall, check the battery tray anbd below, including the frame raila nd firewall, look where the a/c drain tube exits the car, and just about everywhere else
