should i buy these parts used?

was considering getting a few used parts for my 02 Q. looking at struts, control arm, and fuel filter/pump. would it be wise to purchase any or all of these parts used? what type of warranty should i look for? is it going to be more trouble in the end?? all help is appreciated

Used fuel filter.....are you kidding me? About as much sense as buying a used condom. fuel pump,struts and control arms are all wear items and unless you can be guaranteed that the used parts you looking to buy were just recently installed in another car that got totalled shortly after installation, I would also pass on these too. Makes no sense to install pre worn parts that are subject to continual wear......now a used fender,trim panel,or other virtually non wear item, totally different story.

Not a good idea to buy wear items used unless you like extra labor charges or time spent repeating it.
