hey guys, I'm new here and I wanted to get some feedback. I am in the market for an Infiniti and I was wondering wat do u think i should get. The g35c fully loaded or the q45. I am 45 so and wanted to get your opinion to see if I'm too old for the sportty coupe. I really love the g35c but do you think I am too old for it? Thanks for the help in advanced.

Both are amazing cars with great quality. Just depends on what you want; a sporty, great handling and very quick g35 coupe, or a larger, still good handling and quick q45? Gas mileage I'm sure it a little different, etc. Just weigh your options. Oh, I dont have the power but you might want to post this up in the Infiniti Sections of NICO. I'm sure those Infiniti guys can answer this better than I. Good luck!

never too old or young for anything so long as you can properly weild it.

I'm leanin towards Q a little more though being there's gonna be some G's coming out soon that'll make you wish you waited.

For some reason I couldnt see you in a Q, 1der... Unless of course you put some bling to it, like RIIIIMS and maybe that supercharger thing on ebay...... :D It'd have to have the 1der touch!

Justin, youll probably get more civilized responses in infiniti general... You wont have to regularly deal with this idiot!!! ^^^^^

The G35 SC is a Z in a tux. Great handling (though from what I read like to plow a little when pushed) and very gutsy. The Z/SC is the Nissan version of the muscle car. Now the Q is an awesome luxury machine. It all depends. If you want a car that you can drive like a BMW, get the G35. IF you are a Mercedes man, get the Q. But either way, you will be a lucky man;)

I disagree... You can drive the Q like a BMW (I drive mine like it)..... The Q offers the best of all worlds, IMO... Especially with the active damping suspesion.. Just flip it to sport mode and your golden.....

I agree about the G35 coments..... Its wants to go fast all the time, and sometimes that not what you want.. Just that feeling and attitude when you drive it.. It wants to go faster, and when your cruising it feels like its itching for you to gun it, whereas the Q is more/less happy cruising, and happier going fast...

be hardcore like Tommy Dreamer, take 'em both!

I'd so whip a Q Wes, and yes, with some blingin' rims and a Supercharger is always nice, but with it's powerband with it's redline capabilities, I'd have to go turbo on one:D assuming I win the lottery or something like Wednesday...mwhahahaha, boy if I...

"It wants to go fast all the time"

Not true, in that cars that look sorta fast and typically are driven hard by passionate owners don't necessarily have to be drive fast all the time. I'll case in point my little Sentra. It looks like an economy car with style. Meaning that I could drive it like an economy car and look decent doing it, or I could drive it like a sporty compact and show that it's got some oomph. Apply this to the G, you could rock it like a nice, luxury-esk coupe, or you could push your foot to the floor and show some punk ricers (or BMW owners, for that matter) that you've got some power. The way you drive it determines the way the car is percieved, it just so happens that most G owners know what their car is capable of, especially the ones we see here on NICO.

I say G, why not have a relatively impractical car if you can afford to do so?

I am trading in my 2003 Q45 tomorrow. It is not because I don't like the car, I love the car. Becuase my wife totalled her Frontier, I needed to get a truck, so I traded the Q on a Titan LE.

The Q was the best car I ever had. So many features, it blows people away. The best things were the rear view camera, the auto trunk lid up/down, the front cooled seats, and the NAVI.

The two bad things about the Q are 1) It really sucks in the snow (RWD), and 2) The resale value is bad. My dealer said that they are selling new 2004 Q45's at almost $10K off of list. This may have been bull, but when I bought my Premium model, I got almost $7K off of list.

I don't know why, as this car has so much going for it. It makes no sense that it is undervalued like it is. I don't think you can get as much car from any other manufacturer for the price.

The 2005's are on the Infifnity website, but there are not that many differences. I think the 2006 will be a big change.

Don't be afraid of getting a Q, just get the best deal. That will help you when you trade it in on a 2007!! :D

Name.. This is true.. I guess more/less what I was getting at is the accelerator is really touchy.. REALLY touchy... First time i drove it I gave it gas like I do the Q (much firmer pedal on the G) and it just shot off like a rocket..... Whereas the Q isnt quite so strong off the low end.. High end, theres no competition!
