ok here's the deal. went to the local autowreckers looking for parts for my car. Not hoping to find much (only on of three 240's in town), only to find a black '89 fully loaded auto coupe. Unparted. only thing missing is the dizzy, and its on order. interior looks near mint (well...for a 20 y/o car anyways). Engine is stock KA24E, not sure of the mileage though. Digital cluster with a working HUD. Seats are stock S13's and look to be in decent shape (didnt notice the usual wear and tear). Black exterior, charcoal grey or black interior (pretty dusty so hard to tell). Exterior wise, needs a bit of work. Panel under the driverside door is rusted right through, with minor rust issues through out. Nothing that a bit of sanding, grinding and bondo can't fix. Newer tires (about a year old...good amount of tread left) on stock tear drops. Also has the mud guards, and daytime running lights. A/C supposedly works. Stock spoiler (i think). Mint dash. The guy is asking $1100 CDN (about $1300 US give or take). Shoud I get this? Engine is of no use to me (I'm running a KA24DE w/5 spd in my 89 coupe). Digi cluster is no use (mine works just fine though the dash lights keep cutting out when I drive over bumps). only thing I REALLY want is the trunk lid w/spoiler (hes asking $115 CDN for the two) and the mud flaps (mine a broken, and they seem to be a rarity). Wouldn't mind a black interior, but I dont need it as mine is near mint (and blue/grey). If I had found the car two months ago, I would have bought in a heart beat, but right now I'm in the process of buying a house so the cash is a little tight. Anyone here think its worth while to get? Would/could I see a profit with parting it out?

Cheap 240's are hard to find up there, right? If you've got the means to save her, do it before she gets junked.
