Should i buy a 350z or a 240sx for my first drift car, learning with it.

240sx is cheaper . just weld the diff and slide it .

I agree. If you really wana drift, start with a crappy car. Too many people make these super nice cars to learn to drift with, then they get to scared to mess them up and either puss out, or take it easy while learning. Get a cheap POS 240sx and weld the diff and go to an event to learn. Beat the crap out of it learning and if you mess it up you wont care.

if you dont know what a diff is then buying a z33 will be a gross waste of money. buy a MANUAL s13 and dont weld the diff. learn about cars and how they work while you practice on an open diff 1st then move up to a welded or 2 way. think of it as strength training. using the stock open diff will be like running with 20lb weights when you get a 2 way or welded then it'll be like dropping the weights. starting out on a tough car to drift will make your life easier later.
