one of the greatest trouble I have with my car is that I slide around in my leather seats...

Lately I came across a slightly used Bride Pros, bracket/slider for civic and Takata Harness for a price of $750
jdm_23_eg6 wrote:just like what the title said...im selling 1 authentic BRIDE PROS (in black) w/ BRIDE bracket/slider (for eg6) and 1 TAKATA HARNESS (expires 2009)!!! theyre practically brand new **MINT CONDITION**

bracket/slider i believe may fit dc2 and can be retrofit to any car--AS U CAN SEE ON THE PIC, IT IS MOUNTED ON A DA!!!

all for a bargain price of $750 firm --cash only and no trades... : **NOTE: bargain price only apply if buying together--otherwise: seat $490 firm and harness $390 firm**

comes in leather like materialit has red stitchingthick pads for cushioneasy to clean
the thing is, I don't have civic or integra, the bracket is probably next to useless and I am assuming the slider is universal. Therefore I must spend extra to get the bracket specific to my car.

1) is 750$ a good deal for what is mentioned?2) are police more wanting to pop your hood more if you have a racing seat? keep in mind that I already have boost controller/turbo timer/commander (for power) around my gaugec luster/dash so I don't know how much more excuse they need to pop it.3) There are always alternate, I am not talking about cheap ebay knock offs seats because I've seen some in poor quality. The harness however is probably the same as other brand? I don't see how or why Takata harness can be more superior over others. As for the seats there are like Racaro, corebu or something, sparco... etc I am just a bit concerned that I am getting the bang for the buck.4) Seeing how I need it mount it on a s13, will I be replacing the bracket or slider? or is it both?5) lastly, would you buy it and why or why not?

thanks in advance

well i have a red sparco seat and the cop noticed it becaues he said soemthing when he pulled me over. I think yours will probably sit high since s13's have that transmission hump thing or catconverter hump.

I say go for it if you do need it. I got mine becuae my seat kept poking me.

the thing is do you like the bride pros seat. if you like it and it fits good then its worth it. a lot of people sell it afterwards because its the lowest end and it looks funny but if you dont mind how it looks and it fits good then its good. weird how the guy spent more money on the harness than the seat though....750 is decent. the seat is valued at like 400 and the harness is like 400-450 and the bracket is like 150-175.

3 um takata harness to me is not really worth it. it's very functional buts its like 450$. theres always simpson/schroth/sabelt and other harnesses for cheap sub $200. though

2 yeah cops come after you when they see things like bucket seats, gauges, gutted interior etc.

go check out the recaro pole/furious seat. its about 550-650 pretty cheap.

i sat in all the bride seats and i dont think any of them are for me actually though so try to sit in it before you buy. i'll still probably buy a pair of bride buckets/takata harness for looks though for looks/function.

no i wouldnt buy it. i think if youre in a budget and dont care about brand names etc.. go check out some of the lower end sparcos/recaros and a cheaper harness.

That's pretty pimp.

The Pros seat isn't really worth more than $400, you can get them for $350 from Raretrick, but that's still a good deal for a sweet looking setup.

I think the Pros is a cool looking seat, I've never felt the material before though, if it feels cheap, then I'd probably pass on it.

1. I can give you the same deal, you'll be getting a Kevlar seat 2. Probably or probably not, it depends on their mood.3. Takata's are expensive because they're widely used the racing world.4. For the PROS you'll need rails.5. NO, buy my setup

They're a bit heavier than mine. I can get you generic harnesses for $50, if you want something cheap.
