Basicly i moved cuz i know that there are more ppl in here then any where else so i had to do it the ghetto way instead of the right way so...Aright, i just ran into a friend of mine at the mall 2day after work. The first thing that he tells me (knowintg that i have a 240), "is do you want a trubo?" IM like, do fat ppl want to be skinny, do ppl in hell need AC? Hell yeah! The trubo is brand new BUT, it's for an S13 blacktop SR20 motor. I have the stock KA24E turbo which will be havily modified with rebuilt parts. The thign i want to know is, well this trubo work with my car? This probably is a dumb question considering it's just the trubine and not the full trubo set-up.:help quick. im buying the turbo, wastgate, and timer, next tuesday. like i said everythying is brand new.

If it's a T25 its not a bad turbo for a rebuilt KA... but if you want to run more boost your going to need a bigger turbo..

i heard that it would be dangerous to the engine b/c it is a small turbo and the a KA24 well 2.4 liters, would undergo some problems b/c it's a small turbo. is that true?

That turbo is designed for a smaller ot put engine, which could be hard on the turbine side of the compressor, and at certain boost pressure you would have some pretty crappy turbo efficientcy... your best bet is to go to a deisel truck shop with some turbo specs and have them build you one at a fraction of the price that fits your current powerband...

the only reason why im buying it is, believe it or not, the kid is giving it all to me for $250! thats why im all gunhoe about it. can i just take the turbo to them and have them rebuild it for my block?

It's not really that versatile of a turbo to rework... i suppose they could change the trim and the a/r even if you bought the turbo i bet you could sell for more then you bought it. Basically if you have the money, buy it, see if it can be rebuilt to your engine specs and driving types, or sell it. Unfortunately I am not the most knowledgable person about knowing when can be done to a stock turbo...
