check the carfax, the vehicle service history, and the vehicle itself. Drive it. Get a feel for it. If it feels right, go for it, if you have the means.

Nothing wrong with the '08 at all. The only major difference is the '09+ have the 7sp auto transmission vs. 5sp. Of course, if you are looking at a Sport 6mt then there are no major differences.

You should be able to find some with way less than 50k miles. Hell, I only have 28k on mine. Regardless, it's still covered by the B-B warranty until 60k so you should be OK with it.

Sure why not. However you should think ahead. How long would you like to keep it? What kind of mileage do you planning to put in it? These things can be expensive out of waranty. Extended warranty is a good option. Especially as you said money is tight.

How you concidered other cars just cheaper and newer if not new? Perhaps if you are not picky about the interior quality and the fit and finish maybe the Genesis coupe is your option. You can get it cheaper get good warranty on it. It is less car but you pay less. It is a Korean Carbon Copy of the G37 with little less quality in it.

Hey Dude

Welcome to NICO

I lived in Queens many years ago in Kew Gardens and Elmhurst. If you are planning on parking a car on the street in Queens perhaps you can locate my old 58 Ford I would never buy and park a G on the street and wouldn't even be comfortable parking it in an underground garage. If I were you buy an old POS until you buy a house with a garage.

When first married my new wife woke me up one morning to tell me that her car would not start. It was parked on the street in Elmhurst. I went downstairs to have a look and someone had stolen the battery. Shortly thereafter we started looking for a house.

My G is behind the closed garage door

Just my $.02
