should i buy a g35 coupe?

im selling my z32 after i finish fixing it up, and i want to get a new car, ive narrowed it down to either an 03 04 g35 coupe or a subaru sti. im nissan byast so im leaning towards the g35. i love the body style and the profile and its rear wheel drive which i prefer. i heard the vq engine has a weak bottom end so you cant really torbo or supercharge the engine without somewhat of a rebuild... id like to know if thats true for one, also what are some good ways to boost horspower while keeping it NA besides exhaust, and cold air intake... just any information you want to throw out you think would convince me would be good. lol

You should seriously consider kenrik's G, it looks good

As for the STI, if you got the highest model, it'll be faster than the G coupe. But it's more expensive and looks very ricer-ish. G has more style, better everyday ride, and it's easy to mod so it could overtake the STI fairly easily.

Depends on what you like. STI is fast rally car, G is much more baller-ish.

The STi and G35 are completely different vehicles. Personally, I hate the way the STi looks...I'd go with the Lancer Evo...but they both are in a different class, compared to the G35. The Infiniti is more refined, luxurious, and smooth. The STi and Evo are very fast tuner cars with hard seats, ricer-boy looks, and high strung engines.

Speaking of engines, the VQ35 is a terrific engine! Unlike most stock engines, Nissan really did their homework. It is tuned very well from the factory, which is why its somewhat difficult to extract more HP. However, adding FI will be fine on a stock block. HP levels at around 400rwhp are the accepted limit for stock internals. Most twin turbo or supercharger kits are below this number, so you should be fine. If you do go FI, do it right and tune the car.

Someone the other day said they found an 05 with under 10k for 26k...That's a great deal, expect to pay 28-30 for 05-06 with low miles. The 03-04's are a little cheaper, but not much. The deals are out there...Kenrik's car seems like a good deal to me if you want an 03.
