If you can find another KA for a couple hundred, I'd just swap. May save you money or a headache.

hmmm, you dont need my, or any of our opinions anyway, but i personally love the KA. but i would definately look for a motor somewhere, no matter how hard, SR swaps IMO arent worth it horsepower per dollar, well at least before 250 horse, then its pretty much gonna cost the same either route

build that KA

under further investigation, and the fact that i REALLY want a CA, prolly as bad as i want an N/A KA tht can beat an SR, i think you should get a CA, if i had the dough and couldnt find a KA i would in a second

What, it's still a 1700 swap. Spend 1K inside of the KA, save the rest for a wicked turbo kit and tuning gear (that you would've used for the CA too). I understand that to a certain extent we all want to be the underdogs, but why limit yourself to a motor that has head-liftoff at 300Hp (at least what I read) and 1.8L (a FACT). Get the KA and bore the crap out of it, then boost the crap out of it. You still have the link.
