This guy has several auctions labeled as "JDM parts - RARE" for a Q45. Interestingly enough, they're all from a US-spec Q45 (not a President), and to top it off, none of these parts is rare at all... Fred's got every one of them for sale.

Seeing as he's from Japan, perhaps he means to say USDM?

Hey do you think I can get the key re-cut to fit my car or..... maybe..... if I'm REALLY lucky, it'll fit without any mods.

Wait, if it fit my car, then that would mean it's just like mine, then I could sell mine as rare? Or would that mean I over paid, since if it's just like mine, it's not rare?????

JDM is becoming one of the most abused selling words of all time. JDM spec this JDM spec that. Only the uninformed get sucked into buying that crap thinking that are getting something from japan.

They wouldn't sell. However, if you did get some of the used schoolgirl underwear they like to sell in Japan, then you might have something.

this is the real JDM Q stuff i want, but it's not of the Q, it's from the President. i'll take a complete front end, headlights, hood ornament, grille, and mirrors. and take the rear trunk lid, and maybe the taillights, but they may be the same.

I'd love to have just the mirror covers, emblems, b-pillar trim, hood, headlights and front fenders... Front bumper looks the same as USDM... That white one is beautiful.

Wonder if one of our Japan members can get me a pair of the front parking light lenses (small ones on side of bumper)...

??????

No, I'm pretty certain all the parts he is selling WILL work, because they're off a US-spec Q45.

And no, I meant PRESIDENT. That's what the Q is called in the JDM.

the President is not the same as the Q, wheelbase is 150mm longer. based on japanese sites i'd say that the Q was sold as an Infiniti Q45 from 90-96 (or maybe 89-early 97 in japan) and then the Q ceased to exist in japan. We got their Y33 Cima badged as our 4.1L Q45, and japan kept the VH45DE powered President, with it's longer wheelbase for many years, might still be making it.

those actually could be JDM parts, but they're the same as USDM.

yes the President is visably larger than a Q45. The Q45s here are Q45s. If you Q guys want JDM stuff I can get it but I will have to buy it retail from Nissan. With shipping it won't be cheap though.:starwars:

Out of curiosity, is there even an "Infinity" marque in Japan? Are they all just Nissans?
