Should i be worried?

So i was prepping the upper camshaft cover for paint since the old paint was flaking ( and just downright ugly ) when i noticed this...

As you can see, part of the nozzle broke off... Should i be worried??? What does that nozzle do anyway? Any help will be appreciated!

Nope you're good to go. Just there to help keep oil from going up and outto the pcv.

well i guess its on the floor somewhere but if its just to hold back the oil from going to the pcv valves then im guessing its safe to reinstall them! BUT... if i ever find the part that broke off, could i just glue it back on? what kind of glue do you guys recommend for this? im guessing one that holds up to oil and hot temps...

On the floor is good and no gluing it back on. A replacement valve cover might be easy to find at a wrecking yard.

Don't worry about it man, they are there to prevent the pressure from vetting to high and blowing valve seals or valve cover gaskets. The pass side exhaust cover doesn't even have one! You're good to go or if you are worried route the vent hoses to a catch can. I just had mine welded closed. I'm going one 50k with them like that, 500hp daily driven and no issues related to that to note.

And if you are very very worried about that piece I have a cover with that piece in tact. Just not as clean. That You can have if you pay shipping, if you were so compelled...
