Should I be concerned?

Ok guys our S14 has some probs.... 95K miles..

should I can this thing before it gets too late or are these common probs?

I have checked the faq and read over as many of the past messages as I could...

1. Upon start up and idling it sounds like a bunch of marbles in a tin can

2. The car was overheating and losing large amounts of coolant. I could not find a leak. I replaced the t-stat and radiator cap already and it seems to be better but there is now a leak which must be the waterpump since I just replaced the t-stat..

3. four times now on extremely cold days the car will crank and crank but not start... I can sometimes get it to start by holding the gas to the floor - I think I read this was the idle air control valve?

where all are the marble noises coming from?does your exhaust have any white smoke in it?

Hey guys,

The marbles sound seems like it is coming from the valvecover... surprisingly however I can't hear it ping under load...

I need to check the timing...

I was thinking head gasket.. I just changed the coolant/oil tho and I dont believe I saw oil in the coolant or coolant in the oil/vice versa..

no white smoke...
