Haven't been to active recently... been making a new home for the project. Some minor details left like framing the window, facing/staining the shelves, and outlet covers... but it's about time to start wrenching again! The shelf below the fascia has a lot of parts that need to go in the car... and the motor behind the 240 is there to replace the RB20 that's in it now... will rebuild both and have a spare... nothing but time and money right!

Looks _very_ good man! Your shelves may not be pretty, but they should be plenty strong! They should look pretty nice stained. Moving stuff in and out makes you think twice about what you can get rid of / how much crap you have. :-\

I have a couple of questions for you though

Did you etch your floor, or 'what is Mike doing on the floor'? Scrubbing / cleaning?

What is the white numbered door for / from?

Did you measure your shelves to accommodate several sets of wheels / tires?

Are / were you planning on some form of textured flooring like Rustoleum or U-Coat-It?

Yeah... link to the facebook thing works though... I'll see if I can get them hosted somewhere else...

Thanks for all the nice comments!

No, Mike was helping me clean the paint that got on the floor... floor is just raw concrete. The concrete degreaser from Home Depot is awesome by the way... don't like the way painted floors look

Door is from a accedent I had in the Nissan Race Team's T2 350Z at Nelson Ledges just before I went to Japan in May... went high on my line (fastest session of the day) and hit the "marbles" at about 90mph... slid off track and lost no speed in the wet grass (track had been dry all day... left from the morning dew or whatever I guess... could have used the friction)... hit the tire wall with the LH rear... corner worker said the car was 10ft in the air... landed on the LH side... she's back on the road shortly after luckily... cages and safety equip are awesome investments by the way! I got to keep the door... short story long

Yes... the shelves were made to accommodate several sets of wheels/tires.

I'll finish the last bits on the garage when I can borrow my friends truck... already tearing up my guest bath! Goal is to be done by Nov with the house... I'll work on the car when I can... expect some big things over the winter. If things don't change... I have access to a Mustang (I believe) dyno... with cams, a few turbos to try, and Power FC to tune... developing a few parts too... just time and money right! Ha...

Nice little project, I need to do an insulation/plywood job to my garage... some inset shelving in the walls too. Like how that came out, good luck with the bathrooms.
