But I guess I wasn't careful enough wrestling the engine back in.... I broke something else.

The top nipple to the heater core is cracked off.... right after Jon told me that he did the same thing doing his! I didn't hit it on the first time through, but the second time I got 'er good.

And of course it is Sunday at 8:00 and I couldn't go get an hose adaptor to just tie the lines off at the block for now and replace the heater core next weekend.

So that is where I stand. Everything is back in and ready to go except for that stupid heater core nipple..... GRRRRR

Also, can someone verify my Z32 wiring....

I have an extra wire on my CA harness that now goes to nothing, it is Green/Yellow if I remember correctly. Also the 2 center wires on the Z32 harness should be wired together and then put to the ground wire on the CA harness correct?

Is there anyway to check that I did it correctly just short of starting the car and hoping for the best? Could I just turn the key to "ON" and check the ECU for codes? If it is wired incorrectly, it should throw a code 12 correct? I just don't want to fry my new Spork ECU :)

Also, Jon if you are reading this. I would like to come get that dash sometime before this weekend, seeing how I am going to have to take mine out anyway to replace the heater core.
