Greetings, all.

I experienced the problem described here with my 2012 Altima:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/210 ... /1TR14.PDF

The dealer charged me $112.99 in labor to complete this work.

Page 2 of the TSB seems to indicate that the dealer can seek reimbursement from Nissan for this work, which tells me that they shouldn't be billing me for the work.

Can anyone confirm one way or the other? ...any thoughts?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Not at all - That's as good as a recall, and should be covered by Nissan.

If the dealer won't reimburse you, I'd be on the phone with Nissan Customer Care with a quickness.

FYI, I pushed the dealer on this, and they wouldn't budge. They stated that it was a warranty item, and I am about 10,000 miles out of warranty.

I did call Nissan Customer Care, and it's looking like they will be eating the cost and reimbursing me themselves.

So, thumbs-down for Apple Nissan of York, PA, and thumbs-up for Nissan USA!

Thanks very much for the input.
